For four decades, HEAL Movement has worked quietly, persistently, and without fanfare —
in the coastal villages of Kanyakumari, in the Dalit hamlets of Tirunelveli, and along the
mangrove belts of Tamil Nadu's southernmost coastline. We have never sought the spotlight.
We have sought only to serve those whom society has overlooked.

Women's Empowerment
SHG formation, microfinance linkages, rights training, and livelihood skills for rural and coastal Scheduled Caste women across two districts.
Ecological Conservation
Mangrove nurseries, sand dune restoration, plastic-free ocean campaigns, freshwater pond restoration, and community biodiversity monitoring.
Child Rights & Education
Eco-Clubs in 30 schools, Child Activity Centers for 4,800 children, school gardens, rainwater harvesting, and psychosocial support programs.
Dalit Empowerment
Balvadi early childhood centers, adolescent life skills training, goat distribution, sewing machines, and ARWDM federation support for Dalit families.
Seashell Workers
SSWF federation governance, alternative livelihoods, government advocacy, and sustainable processing technology for 2,234 seashell worker families.
Tech-Development
Low-cost scientific kiln operation, SHG capacity building, market linkage development, and quality certification advocacy for cottage industry workers.
Local Bank Account — Non-FCRA Donations
Indian individuals, corporates, trusts, and government bodies may donate directly to HEAL Movement's local (non-FCRA) bank account. Donations are eligible for 80G income tax deduction. Please transfer to the account below and notify us by email with your name, amount, and PAN number for receipt issuance.

What to do after transferring:
Please email heal_m@hotmail.com with your full name, PAN number, amount transferred, date of transfer, and a screenshot of the transaction. We will issue your 80G tax receipt within 48 hours of confirmation.
80G Tax Exemption:
HEAL Movement holds a valid 80G registration under the Income Tax Act, 1961. All donations from Indian taxpayers are eligible for deduction under Section 80G. The deduction limit and percentage applicable depend on the category of institution — please consult your tax advisor for your specific case.
Important: This local bank account is designated for non-FCRA (domestic Indian) donations only. International donors must use the separate FCRA-designated account shown below. Mixing FCRA and non-FCRA funds in the same account violates Indian law and could jeopardize HEAL's FCRA registration.
UPI / Online Transfer
You may also transfer via NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, or UPI using the account and IFSC details above. All major Indian banking apps and UPI platforms support transfers using the account number and IFSC. Screenshots are accepted as transfer proof for receipt issuance.
FCRA Bank Account — International Donations
HEAL Movement is registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 (FCRA) with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. All international donors — individuals, foundations, and organisations outside India — must remit contributions exclusively to HEAL's designated FCRA account. FCRA regulations require all foreign contributions to be received only through this specific account.

FCRA Registration:
HEAL Movement is registered under FCRA 2010 with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India (Registration No. [Your FCRA No.]). This authorises HEAL to receive foreign contributions from individuals, associations, and companies based outside India, subject to FCRA regulations.
After your transfer:
Please email heal_m@hotmail.com with: your full name, country, organisation (if any), amount and currency, transfer date, and purpose. HEAL will send an official acknowledgement and receipt within 48 hours and provide any documents required under FCRA.
FCRA Compliance — Critical:
Under FCRA 2010, all foreign contributions must be received exclusively in the designated FCRA account. Please ensure your bank sends the transfer to the FCRA account number listed here — not to any other HEAL account. Transfers to the wrong account cannot be legally treated as foreign contributions.
Formal MOU Available
Institutional donors (foundations, bilateral agencies, international NGOs) may request a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) before transferring. Contact us at heal_m@hotmail.com to discuss program alignment, due diligence documentation, and reporting requirements.

Make the transfer — via NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, UPI (India) or SWIFT wire transfer (international) using the bank details provided on this page.

Receive your receipt — we will send your official donation receipt and 80G certificate (Indian donors) or acknowledgement letter (international donors) within 48 business hours.
